What is his name? Boyd Jess Grover but mostly BJ or Beej.
2. Who eats more? Probably him. I am a much pickier eater.
3. Who said I love you first? Him - but he hinted around it before he said it.
4. Who is taller? BJ for sure.
5. Who is smarter? Define smarter! If it comes to computers, then me. Anything else, him.
6. Who is more sensitive? I think I am.
7. Who does the laundry? No question on that one - I do!!
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. We can't sleep if we are on the wrong side.
9. Who pays the bills? I pay ours, he pays the ranches.
10. Who cooks more? I do. BJ generally isn't around at most meals. At dinner, I cook it, then wait for him to come home to eat. BJ is a good cook though - when he does it.
11. What meals do you cook together? Sunday dinners. He takes care of the meat and I take care of the side dishes.
12. Who is more stubborn? He would say me by far!!
13. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? That's a tough one.
14. Who is more clean? That one isn't tough. Me. (Although when you come in my house you wouldn't know it!)
15. Who has more siblings? BJ for sure. He has 7 brothers and sisters, and I have 2.
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Do I have to answer that?
17. What do you like to do together? Anything we can. Usually if we want to see each other, the kids and I go with him to do chores.
18. Who eats more sweets? ME!! EASY!! For some odd reason, BJ doesn't really even like chocolate. Sad!!
19. Guilty pleasures? I have to copy Alicia on this one. Constantly working. If you know BJ, he is always out working on the ranch. Him and his brother recently built Brittany and Brooklyn an awesome pig pen for their fair pigs!!
20. How did you meet? At college. Our apartments were next to each othe.r
21. Who asked who out first? Officially? He asked me to go to a play right before Christmas break.
22. Who kissed who first? He kissed me first. And it was even kind of romantic. What happened to that?
23. Who proposed? He did. Both times.
24. His best features? Do we have to choose?
25. What is his greatest quality? His strong work ethic. BJ is such a hard worker!!

Crazy Projects

Sometimes a good idea turns into a crazy idea. What started out as a way to say thank you to a family friend, has turned in to saying thank you to the friend, his wife, and his four daughters. Erik, Preston, and BJ wanted to thank a friend for coming to do a horse clinic. We are now making 5 quilts for his family. It is fun and exciting, and we are pretty sure that the family will really like what we are doing. But boy!!! It is a lot of work. BJ's mother is quite a quilter, so we have enlisted her help for this project. We started out cutting the pieces we would need for 4 beachball quilts, and one block quilt. (Each beachball quilt has 180 pieces. Times that by 4). I cut quite a few, but I need to give a shout out to BJ, who took material and cut and cut and cut for nearly 8 hours straight on a graveyard shift. Good job BJ!! Friday I took the pieces to LouAnn for a "quick" demonstration on how to put them together. (It took about 4 hours.) Good grief!! It is not easy to make a circle on a quilt!! Keep in mind that I DON"T SEW!!! Bless LouAnn and her patient heart!! She was so good to teach me (and my sister in law Tara). We started with stitch one, and worked our way up to the finished project. I can't believe it!! What a rewarding project! I enjoyed the first one (it was purple) so much that I hurried to start on the second one (it's green.) We still have to tie them and bind them, but it so fun to look at the finished top and know how much work went into it. (BJ also gained a new appreciation for his mom after cutting all those blocks.) Anyway - this project was so out of my comfort zone that I just had to post this project because I am so excited about it!!! Just don't look too close at the corners!!=)

Too windy to play outside?

If it is too windy where you are to play outside (like it is here), try Jensen's form of inside entertainment! Indoor bull riding!! Notice the right hand up in the air. They were working on getting that right for quite awhile. Jensen really thought he needed to teach his friend Cort the proper technique. (push the play button)

1. I am an ice-aholic. I eat ice way too much! My teeth will probably all fall out.
2. I have a favorite cup that I like to eat ice out of. (which i have permanently borrowed from my inlaws)

3. I "pretend" to be a clogger, but I am really a tapper at heart.
4. I miss tap. (and Carrie)
5. I am pondering if I should grow my hair back out.
6. I hate messy houses, but haven't had a clean one since B.C. (Before children)

8. I teach dance (and am looking forward to having the summer off.)
9. I enjoy teaching dance, but also enjoy the breaks when I don't teach.
