This past weekend was WICKED!!! I was able to go with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law to WICKED~ A new musical!! I was pumped!!! I have wanted to see this show for a LONG time!! I have been listening to the music forever - and have read the book (although I had to skip several parts . . . .hmmm......) When tickets went on a pre-sale in Oct, I stayed on the computer all morning trying to get tickets and had to leave for a drill team trip. I called my mom, and she kept trying and was finally able to secure us some tickets. I have been excited since then!!We had a great visit in the car on the way to the show, and a great lunch! It was fun to spend time with the girls in my family.
The show was fabulous - and some of the songs were even more powerful than I had imagined! It was fun to see where all the songs fit in with the story - and see what was really going on at the time of the songs vs what my little mind had imagined was going on.

I have been a blog slacker latetly - but will be updating about all th events that aren't on here yet starting next week. (I have got to get the spring recital out of the way first!!) So . . . .stay tuned.

OOOOOOHHHHHHH - - - - It was SOOOOOOOO good!!! I thought about you when I went, since you first introduced me to the music back in the day of "into the woods". Now you know how it feels - remember - you went to Berndette!!!
Ha ha! True. Although, it's highly unfortunate because I'm pretty sure I went into shock at her concert because I don't remember much at all! :)
PLUS! Yes, I do have to drive a lot for rehearsals. Usually traffic is pretty bad so it takes me about 50 minutes to get up there. Only about 40 to get home at night. It's okay though. I love it! The show runs June 13th - August 1st and I'm in the Monday, Wednesday, Friday cast, and also do some Saturday matinees. Anyway, I'm super excited! I GET TO DANCE AGAIN!!! :)
