WANTED - THE WILD BUNCH

STINKY

STINKY.

It is summer, so you know what that means . . . . .PIGS.

STINKY, STINKY, STINKY!!
The kids are raising pigs again for the livestock show during the county fair. They have been working hard making sure to feed, water, and walk their animals. At this point, the pigs are
HUGE! and STINKY!!!

Yesterday we went out to take pictures with the kids & their pigs so we could send out buyer letters. What an experience. I don't think that in our five year pig history we have ever been this messy before. (I really made everyone strip down to ride home - they weren't going to get that pig *** (smell) all over my van!! For those of you who don't know, once you smell like pig, it is hard to get the smell OFF!!)

The kids (which they named themselves the WILD BUNCH) had named their pigs with out-law names, so of course we had to take OUTLAW pictures. Just getting the bandanas on the pigs was a feat!! It was messy, it was wet, it was hot, but surprisingly enough it actually was kind of fun, stink and all.

The FUNNIEST/SADDEST part of the day was when Jensen was helping his cousin get a pig out of its pen, when WHAM!!! the pig pushed Jensen right down, into the icky, sticky, stinky, nasty MUD hole! UGGHHH!! He was such a mess . . . .but what a kid. . . .he was such a good sport. He just went over and tried to wash off with the hose. I am pretty sure he still stinks today, even after a bath and swimming at the pool later. Even covered in pig muck I think he is a darn good lookin kid.
