Thanksgiving

Okay, so I have been a real slacker, but I finally have some posts to get on here!! We went to Castle Dale for Thanksgiving and had a great time!!

Brooklyn & Brittany were doing something sneaky the day before we left, and wouldn't tell me what they were up to. On Thanksgiving day we found out. They had planned a carnival to have on Thanksgiving day. They had made money, tickets, gift certificates, prizes, and planned the events. To attend the carnival, they gave us all fake money, in which we bought our tickets to play the games. When we presented our money, we got our hand stamped so that we could get "back in" to the carnival if we left. Then we played games and won gift certificates. They had a great cake walk, a reading contest, and a scavenger hunt planned. We had a lot of fun, but it was especially great because it kept the kids busy while the rest of us cooked. We were so glad that cousin Ciera got to come for a while, because we love to see her, but don't get to very often! Ethan was also a pleasant surprise when Wade & Rebecca showed up! Yeah!! More participants for the canival!!

Dinner was especially yummy - but it always seems like so much work, for so little actual eating time. Thanks mom for the great food! One of these years I am going to learn to make your stuffing.

Klayton and Shelby Laws also had dinner with us too! They have been so great to help out on the ranch, and have been a real blessing to our family! Thanks guys! It was fun getting to know them and their darling little girls! I am so late posting this, that now they have a cute little boy Kooper! Congratulations!

We had fun visiting and were glad to see Granmda and Grandpa Curtis for a little while. We also really enjoyed our visit with Grammy Great.

After dinner we all visited and played games, and of course, had pie for dessert! YUMMY!

What a fun time we had! We were so thankful to spend time with everyone!
